Why Saint Roko inn?
Saint Roko inn offers large assortment of traditional meals from the Dalmatian area and a pleasant environment. With autochthonous food you will also enjoy and in top quality wines from the local area. The inn can receive up to 60 people, it is imbued with numerous detail from the life of Dalmatian villager which with open fireplace make atmosphere of Dalmatian village.
The inn also offers rooms for overnight stay at affordable prices. Price for one person per night is 120 kn (16 €) with large discount for groups and larger number of nights. All rooms have air-condition, bathroom, TV and internet.
The inn is located 25 min away from Split and 15 minutes away from Sinj. The first beaches are located on 25 minutes of driving with car.
Half kilometre from the inn is canyon of river Cetina, the biggest river with whole it’s flow inside Croatian borders. For one day trips you can choose between Dalmatian islands (island of Brač – 1h 30 min; Hvar – 3 h), National park Krka (1h), National park Plitvice Lakes (2h 30 min), Makarska I Nature park Biokovo (1 h). Also there are sites which are on UNESCO world heritage list, Split (25 min), Trogir (40 min), Dubrovnik (2 h), island Hvar etc. Near in Bosnia and Herzegovina there is town of Mostar (1h 40 min) and Medjugorje (1h 20 min).
The inn is located next to the main road (D60) 3 km from Trilj toward town of Imotski and 6 km from highway A1.
What are we offering?
The inn is offering numerous traditional meals from the area of river Cetina like: smoked ham, cow cheese, homemade cakes, traditional Dalmatian meal called ‘peka’, roasted rooster, smoked lamb, roasted venison, grilled meat and all kind of custom meals.
For guests who would like to stay overnight are available 7 rooms; 4 single bed and 3 two bed rooms with possible extra beds in each room. All rooms have air-condition, bathroom, TV and internet.
The inn is dog friendly.
If you would like to learn more about the culture of central Dalmatia, not far away are Split and Trogir (on UNESCO world heritage list), the biggest Roman ancient city in Dalmatia town of Solin, Klis fortress, numerous sights on islands of Brač and Hvar. Only 2 hours away is located world famous tourist town of Dubrovnik (also on UNESCO world heritage list). In early august one of the most famous manifestation games in Croatia, Sinj’s alka is played in Sinj. In the center of Sinj is placed Museum of Sinj’s alka. In the neighboring country, Bosnia and Herzegovina, very close is located town of Mostar and pilgrimage site of Medjugorje.
In the local area is positioned Tilurij, fortress of Roman seventh legion, where is found artefact of the soccer ball engraved in the statue of little boy which is officially declared by UEFA’s world oldest ball representation.
For all nature lovers there are Krka National Park, Plitvice Lakes National Park, Red and Blue Lake near town of Imotski and mountains like Biokovo Nature Park.
Also, nearby You can go rafting, cannoning, kayaking and fishing on Cetina river. Zip-line in town of Omiš will give You unforgetable experience above the canyon. Numerous cycling and mountaineering tracks on surrounding mountains are great choise for one-day trip on fresh air, such as hunting on our hunting grounds. All horse lovers can go on organized tours or riding school in town of Trilj.
Few hundred meters away from the inn is big football field.
